Stay productive while working from home! πŸ’« If you're anything like me, some days this is more difficult than others. Working from home can be both a blessing and a challenge.πŸ–€ After nearly a decade decade of working from home, I've picked up a thing or two when it comes to staying on task. Here are my top three tips to help you stay productive: Craft Your Dedicated Workspace: πŸ–₯ This one is super important! Design a workspace that's comfortable and free from distractions. Somewhere that strikes inspiration and clutter-free, an organized area with good lighting can work wonders for your focus. Remember, your environment sets the tone for your productivity. Set a Structured Routine: πŸ“† Being a virgo, this one is so important. Establish a daily routine that mirrors your regular office hours. Begin your day with a consistent morning routine, dress as if you were heading to the office, and allocate specific time blocks for tasks. A well-structured day can boost your efficiency and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Embrace Technology Wisely: πŸ‘©β€πŸ’» Leverage digital tools and apps to enhance your workflow. Project management tools like Trello or Asana, communication platforms like Slack, and time-tracking apps can streamline collaboration and keep you on track. Systems, they save us time ⏳️ and energy but sometimes we don't know what we need until someone points out a hole in our process. Blocks are usually where we can save ourselves time and money. This week I had a client who was managing her online leads and booking process manually! 🀯 This lovely client generates 100s of leads each week. That's hours and hours of emails even if they're already templated. She was super stressed, wasn't sure how her VA was going to keep up with her influx of enquiries and wasn't ready to bring on any new team members. πŸ›‘ I said Kim, you know we can automate your entire process on one platform, right? πŸ₯³ So she said let's do this and we all lived happily ever after the end! 😝😝 Just kidding πŸ™ŠπŸ™Š After a mindmap 🧠 and strategy session she now has an entire booking process from discovery call right through to, booking their show appearance on their preferred date, 24-hour reminders on how to prepare for their interview and what to bring, follow-up offboarding with links to their show appearance and a follow-up email a week after requesting a review and an upsell if they would like to scale to a larger package. How much time do you think we saved her? πŸ–πŸ–πŸ–πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’« This doesn't have to just be for a booking process this could be automating monthly reminders, or nurturing potential clients after a discovery call, the options to save yourself time are endless! πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ Automate! So you have more time for you to be in flow and create magic.

Things being a single mum has taught me It takes a village, don't let that dreded Mum guilt get in the way of you making yourself a priority. Us Mums are amazing and can carry so much but the responsibility doesn't lie solely with us. Balance is bullshit and unachievable, this hustle culture tells you, you can do it all but it's unnecessary and often leads to burnout. I'm a believer in tilting, tilt to what needs your attention in the moment, kids need you, tilt there, that pile of clean washing that's been sitting there for a week and it's starting to annoy you, tilt there, not everything has to be done today. Kids are more resilient than we give them credit for, you're a family, lean on eachother, support and guide eachother. Once I stopped thinking I had to be 'on' all the time and started listening more than talking they taught me more than I could have imagined. Children are so wise and just intuitively know what they need without coming from a place of fear. It's our job to guide them to being the most them they can be not creating another us. Support is all around in many forms, don't be afraid to ask for help and often what we need in the moment is right there, it's our minds that can sabotage us and tell us we need to do things on our own. Connection is so important and it starts with you, if you intimately know yourself on all levels, your vibe rises and so does what you tolerate, the rubbish falls away and you become the most authentic you and that in my opinion is magic. Take care of your body and mind, you're together a long time. Meditation has been a game changer for me on getting clear of what my next move is. Zapier is an incredibly powerful tool in a business owners tool belt. It can really save you time and has the ability to pop some pretty cool systems in place and get platforms that generally don't talk to eachother working in perfect unity. They even have a free plan which is even better. 😍 A handy zap to pop in place is automatically posting a new blog to your Google My Business account. No double handling, increases traffic to your website, improves SEO visibility, keeps your content fresh on your listing. Did you know, 64% of customers use Google My Business to find contact details for local businesses, 94% of calls to local businesses come from GMB so keeping your information and content on your profile relevant and up to date can be a really powerful tool.  What zaps have you used lately to save time?

This is the face I make when you surround yourself with likeminded souls who want to work intuitively, collaboratively, respectfully and you just vibe! When it comes to business and money we often say yes when we really should say no, but unfortunately this is coming from a place of fear. It comes back to trusting your intution, no one knows you better than you. You know when you get that feeling in your stomach that says, hmmm maybe I shouldn't work with this person or our values really just don't align. Or you begin a contract and you just feel they don't understand where you're heading or I hate to even say but taken advantage of, unfortunately in this digital world there are people out there who make promises and don't deliver. When someone disrespects someone elses boundaries, ethics or approaches things manipulatively it leaves us feeling undervalued and overworked. Now this doesn't mean cutting them off but healthy communication is key, always! But it's a two way street. There is enough resources for a rising tide to lift all ships and live abundantly but when you approach things with a mindset of lack or not valuing someone's time or financial contribution you're putting a giant big money block on yourself and who wants that. My mantra this year is if it isn't a hell yes it's a hell no because your energy is just too valuable. πŸ–€
